Grignon (also called Louro Vermelho) is a large tree from the Guianan forests, offering a warm brown wood, whose appearance sometimes resembles mahogany.
With a density of approximately 600 kg/m³, it stands out for its ease of work: it is easily sawn, machined, and glued.
Versatile, this wood is particularly suitable for carpentry and small furniture.
